STEAK WITH LEMON A PLANCHASteak with Lemon a Plancha<BR><br> <br> THE INGREDIENTS<li><br> Approx 600gms of thick rump steak<li> 5 stalks of thyme 2 garlic cloves virgin olive oil zest and juice of 1/2 lemon salt and pepper THE METHOD Trim fat from steak, brush with oil & cook on the plancha until rare Mix thyme leaves, garlic,oil, lemon zest and juice also add salt and pepper to taste in a wide shallow bowl Once the steak is cooked place in the marinade for 4 minutes each side Place steak on a board and slice thinly in diagonal strips Return to the plancha to heat and serve This recipe is reproduced courtesy of Hannah Casey Kitchen to Table supply the electric Plancha which this recipe was cooked on |
