STEAK WITH LEMON A PLANCHA

Steak with Lemon a Plancha<BR>

THE INGREDIENTS<li><br>


Approx 600gms of thick rump steak<li>
5 stalks of thyme
2 garlic cloves
virgin olive oil
zest and juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper


THE METHOD

Trim fat from steak, brush with oil & cook on the plancha until rare

Mix thyme leaves, garlic,oil, lemon zest and juice also add salt and pepper to taste in a wide shallow bowl

Once the steak is cooked place in the marinade for 4 minutes each side

Place steak on a board and slice thinly in diagonal strips

Return to the plancha to heat and serve
